Thursday May the 7th to Sunday the 10th 2026

Northern Ireland/Irish Vincent Riders "Gathering" based in the Dundrum,Newcastle County Down Area.

Many of you will remember this past event hosted by Mr John Kidd in Dundrum.
For 2026 John has encouraged that we bring back the event.

This event will coincide with the world famous International NW200 road race.
Given the volume of motorcyclists who head for this event from all over the world, ferry bookings for those traveling by ferry will need to be made soon hence the early notice. Options include ferries arriving into Dublin,Belfast and Larne.

Reduced rate booking may be made through Nutt Travel, were we have thanks to our friends who have supported motorcyclist, race travel for longer than we remember. Nutt have given us the motorsport rates, essential for transporters,motorhomes and bikes.,

Self book your accommodation in and around Dundrum,Newcastle Castlewellan.These areas are all close together and have lots of great options including camp sites, motorhome pitches ,air b and b, hotels, one to five star and traditional B and Bs.

The May date:
Ride some fantastic roads on the Thursday afternoon we will start around midday, head up to the North Coast via the legendary Antrim Coastal Route.
When we arrive you will have an opportunity to ride two laps of the public roads race track. 11 miles per lap.
Once roads close to the public for the evening races you can head home,or eat terrible food and watch the public road race madness from a wee spot on the outside of the circuit.
We will be based near the Magheraboy chicane, for ease of escape, bikes braking from 200 to 50 mph were we will have, parking, food,ice cream, coffee,toilets and the ability to exit at any time via my secret route.
Return to base in County Down all routes around 80 miles home.

Friday morning a visit to see Mr.John Kidds pre war collection in Dundrum and then a short afternoon tour of the Mourne Mountains in County Down.

Saturday you will have the option of attending the Saturday racing or for those whose nerves have been badly affected, following watching the ejits racing at over 200 mph on public roads on Thursday night.
A wee spin around the Cooley peninsula, whisky distilleries then oysters and Guinness in Carlingford. Including a short ferry trip across Carlingford Lough for some Dolphin spotting.

Dinner and drinks at the Maghera Inn on Saturday night.(TBC)

Worth noting for UK riders please check you are insured and have european recovery, to travel the ROI roads.

There will also be camping for the hardy in Dundrum at Johns farm paddock, very basic old school rally site, water, toilet and community shed.
